Where did you get your Floppy shirt? Where can I get a Floppy shirt?
I made my Floppy shirt. My husband found a tiny (approximately toddler-sized) Floppy shirt at The Brass Armadillo; we bought the shirt and I scanned the image, flipped it so it was a mirror image, and printed it on iron-on paper on my printer.
See below for info on Floppy merchandise.
Why don't you get the rights and sell Floppy shirts on your site?
As I understand it, the rights to Floppy belong to the Elletts. The rights to the show belong to WHO. It is not for me to decide what is done with those rights. I frankly do not have the time or inclination to sell Floppy shirts; I rarely have time to update the site anymore. Sorry.
How can I contact the Elletts?
I've been lucky enough to talk to Sarah and Kate Ellett a few times, but I don't always have current contact information for them, and I respect their privacy. If you have a message to them, you can give it to me and I may be able to relay it to them, but I make no guarantees.
You do know that the Elletts have the rights to Floppy and you don't, right?
My answer to this is "duh." This is not currently a commercial site, and I have no desire to steal Floppy from Duane's family or from anyone who has Floppy-related rights. If the family members asked me to take anything down, I would. The site is merely a statement of fan appreciation.
There's this thing I kind of remember from the show, but I can't quite think of some of the details. Can you help me?
Probably not. I was a kid when The Floppy Show was on, so my memories are dim. However, I will be happy to post your questions with the other Floppy emails I have received in the hope that someone else will email me an answer.
Where can I get Floppy footage/specific Floppy footage?
Well, there are Floppy videos on this site, and there might be more to come. As far as tracking down actual episodes goes, I can't help you out a lot. When I called WHO, they claimed that there was very little Floppy footage on tape at the studio because the shows were live. That's all I could get out of them. However, if you want to try your hand I wish you the best of luck. Seriously.
